Halló, this is Iceland, and here is a picture of a concert that some people decided to have in my Reykjavík last month.
The human to took the picture is my Russian friend Alísa Kalyanova. She lives on me, and takes many good pictures.
And the people making the music in their under-wear on the picture are called FM Belfast. (They are an Icelandic band that is not Sigur Rós.)

Halló, human who likes to read small letters. This Tumblr on your Inter-net is a part of Iceland Wants to Be Your Friend, which belongs to something very serious and important called Promote Iceland. Maybe you did not know this, but we can assure you that Iceland would also like to be your friend on Facebook, on Twitter, on Vimeo, and on Flickr. Or you could just read a blog about Iceland, learn every single word in Icelandic, get to know good Icelandic bands that are not Sigur Rós, or tell Iceland a really good story in an email. (And if you are a really töff person who thinks this is all much too krúttlegt and embarrassing you can even go and "hang" with Hipster Iceland.) Do you want to know things about Iceland? You just have to ask. You probably don't believe it, but all of this was created by actual people like you, using brains and fancy machines. They are called Takk Takk, and they are honestly so happy and impressed that you are still reading this, even though it is written in small gray letters, that they just want to tell you this.
