Every Single Word in Icelandic: Samband →
It is very good to know this.
everysinglewordinicelandic:
I have noticed that no human wants to be alone.
This is because of how they are made.
Except for maybe when they are in a bath-room, they always like to be with other humans and do human things with them.
They like to talk with their mouths and ears with them, watch moving pictures…

far-and-back asked: Hello Iceland on Tumblr! I interrupted all the busy and important things I was doing in the end of January to get on a flying machine to visit you. I had a wonderful time - walking on your glaciers, exploring your ice caves and taking photographs of your dramatic scenery. Now I am having fun reflecting on the trip and posting my photos and stories - have a look at my blog. Takk fyrir!

foreversqueezed asked: Hi Iceland! You're beautiful. I am going to visit you in January but I want to pack light. Is there a lot of snow on your streets? Will I need boots or can I wear regular shoes? (I hate boots.) Any advice you have would be very nice. Thank you!

Hello, this is Iceland.
I am sorry to interupt your inter-nets but I want to tell you how to become a better human.
In the old days (well, it is the old days for you, but I am millions of years old, so for me it was like yesterday) my people were Vikings and they had a code to live by. (A Viking has got to have a code).
The code came from Óðinn the Alfather himself, supposedly, and was put...
